Corn...

I am talking about the vegetable, not the rock group.

I have a love/hate relationship with the stuff.

I love the smell of fresh picked corn.

I hate watching the passing of time through the corn fields on Center and Brown.

I love that it's green on the outside and yellow on the inside. 

I hate that there are little fibers that just get stuck in my teeth.

I love corn on the cob, especially grilled.

I hate corn in salsa or hash or basically anything.  Ewwwww.

I love that it eventually reminds you that you've eaten it, if you get my meaning.

I hate that I have to think, "When did I eat corn?"

I love that you can taste it without cooking and decide if it's good or not.

I hate that sometimes... it's not.

I love that my Hayden will eat it when he feels like eating nothing.

I hate that Curt can't eat it on the cob without skewers in the ends. 

I love corn with salt and butter.

I hate that Curt loves it with a lot of black pepper... ewwww again.

I love it as popcorn.

I hate that people burn the popcorn and the smell will linger for HOURS!

I love saying the word corn... it's just a weird word.  (Same with beef, chicken and cantaloupe.)

So, there's the relationship. It's awesome to have one with food, but certainly corn is one of the most interesting foods out there!

Regarding the video on the previous post.

We had the funniest thing happen while we were at Disneyland while in line at the Buzz Lightyear ride.

A worker was trying to get past us to take the garbage out.   She simple said, "beep, beep."

Instantly, Aaron, Alyssa, Bailey, Aubrey and Hayden all chimed in with, "outta the way, a baby swallowed a penny."   It was so hard not to laugh.

The girl gave us the weirdest look and laughed a little.

Oh my gahhhhhhh!!!

I'm sorry, but I just love this SNL skit.  I love the doorbell one and was super happy to see that they did the car horn!!   Beep, Beep.  Wha?????



I want one that says, "Move outta my way... hormornal mom... crazy kids... whahhhhh?"

Crazy.

Medication to stabilze hormones... check.

Irrational  paranoia... check.

Absolute Fatigue... check.

Spikes in mood... check.

Anger, crying, depression, and laughing, repeating... check.

Venting at the wrong people... check.

Forcing a smile... check.

Feeling like being commited... check.

Finding out medication causes "severe mood swings"... yep, check.

Dr. changing my hormone meds before I ruin all friendships...  in process.
